Mike Bosisto 34 years old
 |
|
Mike has been
shooting seriously for 15 years, but started shooting a
bow at age 4. He is a professional hunting guide, and a
Pro Staff hunter for Knight and Hale Game calls (PRADCO
Outdoor Brands). He also shots indoor target, 3-D and
Safari shoots when he gets time to do so. He can usually
be found at Archery World where he is an accomplished
bow Technician. Mike is now serving in his second term
as the WSAA District 2 trustee, and is looking forward
to being recertified as a Hunter Education Instructor
for the WDFW, and as a bow hunting education instructor
in 2008. Mike also speaks at seminars conducted at
archery world on deer, elk, and turkey hunting. |

David
Denny |
|
David has been shooting for 12 years. He has won 2
Outdoor National Championships. He
has won his class at the WSAA Indoor Multi-Color
(Vegas) Championships several times. In
2002, he was the Redding Safari Champion in his class.
After turning pro in 2003, he has placed both 2nd and
3rd place overall at the Redding Safari, 3rd place in
the Outdoor Nationals, and 2n place at the World
Championships. He has won numerous sectional and
state tournaments. David travels to
many shoots during the year, including the Outdoor
Nationals, Redding Safari Nationals, and the World
Archery Festival in Las Vegas.

Vince
Herschell |
|
Vince has been shooting for 20 years, and has won
numerous sectional, state, and world matches in both
indoor and field categories. In 2002, he placed 9th in
his Championship Division at World Archery Festival in
Las Vegas, NV. A huge "Congrats" is in order for Vince,
who won the 2000 World Championships in South Africa,
and the 2002 World Championships in Scotland!!!

John
Heuvel  |
|
John has been shooting for over 20 years, and competing
at state level or above for 6. He consistently
places in the top 5 at state and sectional competitions.
After winning the Freestyle BowHunter class at the World
Archery Festival in 2002, John switched to the Freestyle
Division, placing 128th in 2003 and 31st in 2004, out of
thousands of competitors. John has recently
discovered his love for Safari shoots, and placed 3rd
place at the Redding Safari. He is also on the
Martin Archery and Easton Pro Staffs.

Kevin Hodgins |
|
Kevin has been shooting for 2 1/2 years, and is pretty
new to the game. Until 2005, he had only competed in
indoor tournaments, going to the World Archery Festival
in Las Vegas twice. He has competed in indoor
state and indoor sectionals, doing extremely well for
the amount of shooting experience he has!
Recently, Kevin has been using his archery experience to
compete outside in both field and safari, traveling to
the 2006 World Championships in Australia, Redding Safari Nationals, NW Field Sectionals, State
Safari, and many other local field and safari shoots.
He recently graduated from Washington State University -

Brad
Killip 53 years old

Brad has been competing in Archery for over 14 years.
He has won two State Championships in the Recurve
division. He enjoys shooting traditional and
compound equipment. Lately he has been competing
in the Freestyle limited division, traveling to the World
Archery Festival in Las Vegas, as well as other
National, Sectional, State and local and World
competitions. Traveling to Scottland, New York,
Australia (winning the class b division of Free style
limited) and in 2008 Namibia.
Brad helps out at Archery World in his spare time, and
is always willing to help new archers. Brad has been
helping teach at camps including the Girl Scouts and the
Young Marines. Last year He came with us to Help at a
shoot for young kidney patients. Thanks

Charlene Kovaschetz |
|
Char has been shooting for only 4 years, but constantly
places in the top of her division. Char won the
2004 Multi-color BowHunter Freestyle Class. She will
expand her shooting to include FITA and Safari. Char
looks forward to The World Archery Festival held in Las
Vegas NV. |

Glen Nirk |
|
Glen grew up in an Archery Family, shooting practically
his whole life. He recently discovered the
excitement of competitive archery shooting, and has
placed well, considering the limited amount of time he
has been competing. He can usually be found in the
evenings shooting at Archery World with his wife.
We are excited to have him as part of our shooting
staff. |

Dana
Richard 36 years old |
|
Dana is the man to see when it comes
to archery lessons here at the shop. He has been
teaching here for almost 9 years. He coaches boy scout
groups, 4-H groups and any other groups that may want to
shoot together. Dana is one of the bow technicians here
and knows what it takes to set up a bow to a specific
person. He shoots local tournaments when he isn't
helping others prepare for them. His love for the sport
helps him take archery t the next level. Dana is a
traditionalist at heart and when he hunts it is how he
spends his time in the woods. |
Dan Rennells 52 years old

Dan
concentrates on the multi-color, field shoots, FITA,
Safari's and 900 rounds. Dan started shooting in 2004
for "something to do" He quickly learned that like any
fun hobby you can become addicted to the sport. Dan
shoots more competition than we could dream of. He is
also a very successful hunter and has harvested 3 deer
and 2 elk since he started hunting with a bow. |

Jim Stanek
1940-2008 |
|
Jim Stanek recently passed away and he
will be missed by all of us. Jim was a great person to
know, and
an inspiration to others. His knowledge of archery has
proven to help so many in the sport become better and
his dedication to archery has set a mark so high it may
never be reached...Jim you will always have a place here
at Archery World
Jim has had
numerous first place finishes over his years of
shooting. He shoots "Freestyle Limited" and loves both
indoors and outdoor shoots. Some of the recent shoots he
has done are Nationals, Sectionals, Multiple Safari,
shoots, Las Vegas "vegas", Sherwood Nottingham,
Multicolor indoors, and Blue Face indoors. Jim is a
great shooter and shows professionalism everywhere he
goes. |

Jim Thurlow 59 years old |
|
Jim has been
shooting for 30 years. To Jim traveling around the
country and meeting new people in archery has been a
great experience. A few of Jims accomplishments are:
North West Sectionals Indoor and outdoor he has 9 1st
place finishes, Outdoor State Shoots he has 4 1st place
finishes, Indoor State Shoots he has 4 1st place
finishes, Atlantic City 1st place, PNAA Championship 1st
place, and most recently Outdoor Nationals 1st place
Senior Division. Jim has been a positive influence in
archery and will continue to be for many more years to
come. |

Mike
Skinner 60 years old |
|
Mike has been
shooting since 1968. He enjoys shooting FreeStyle Mike
enjoys field archery and indoor target and has over 33
State Championships. Some include Indoor Blue Face and
Multi-Color, 3 sectional Championships, 1 National gold
medal. Mike is a Washington State Archery Association
Trustee At Large. Mike has been active with archery and
loves to see it grow more each year. |
